Commissioning & First Production Run/ Production Start-up

ZI-ARGUS provides industrial automation engineering services, including production start-up, training and QA/QC. We operate in a wide variety of industries including oil and gas, food & beverages, dairy, automotive, pharmaceutical, chemical, mining, personal products, etc. Established in 1994, ZI-ARGUS has gained broad experience in the design, engineering, installation, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance of a wide range of control systems technologies. ZI-ARGUS is an independent System Integrator and prides itself on establishing and maintaining new technologies and personal relationships with its clients.

Commissioning takes place after successful completion of the earlier phases of a project, such as design, specification, development, in-house testing, prototyping, documentation, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), equipment supply and building of Control Cabinets, and electrical installation. At each of these key phases, our ZI-ARGUS engineers and Project Managers ensure clear communications, written specifications, and careful confirmation of customer requirements. The FAT occurs just prior to Commissioning and is the final check before site. FAT, which may include process simulation, provides the customer with an opportunity to validate the system to be installed, ensuring a smooth and high speed implementation on-site.

During commissioning, our engineers work closely with process engineers and other parties. We  provide a pro-active, friendly and co-operative approach, assisting with mechanical and electrical starting up of new equipment - bumping of motors, calibration, temporary connections / programming, and special tests required by others. Where possible, operators are involved in the commissioning phase to help them learn about the plant first hand.
